SUMMARY AND EXPLANATION

Rapid Test® TUP Urine Dips are firm plastic strips to which different reagents areas are affixed. TUP test strips are ready to use and disposable. No equipment required for its use. Only fresh and uncentrifuged urine samples without preservatives are to be used.

Rapid Test ® TUP configurations test for Glucose, Bilirubin, Keton, Specific Gravity, Blood, pH, Protein, Uro-Bilinogen, Nitrite, Lecocytes, these configurations depending on the TUP 5-10 products

TEST PRINCIPLE

In general, all  Rapid Test® TUP products are based on the chemical reactions of the indicator reagents on the pads with components in the urine sample effecting colour changes. Results are obtained by comparing the colour on each test pad with the corresponding pad on the container colour chart label.

STORAGE

Store at room temperature between 15 ºC – 30 ºC

All test strips should be stored in original container, DO NOT REMOVE DESICCANT FROM BOTTLE

Do Not expose to direct sunlight

Remove only the test strips you intend to use  recap the container after use

Do not use after expiry date

PRECAUTIONS

Do not touch reactive fields

SPECIMEN COLLECTION

Collect Urine in a clean glass or plastic container

Test Urine sample immediately if the sample cannot be tested within one hour . Bring refridgeated sample to room temperture and mix thoroughly before testing

Do not centrifuge or add preservatives to the urine sample

Handle urine samples as if it is potentialy infectious.
